High Performance Coaching
Frequently Asked Questions
01. Am I eligible for coaching if I’m not a grad student?
Absolutely – High Performance Life Coaching is for everyone and I welcome your application!
02. Can I sign up for just a few sessions?
Definitely not. High Performance Coaching is not a buffet where you pick and choose topics.
Rather, High Performance Coaching is a comprehensive 12-session curriculum package, based on research. You can read the full report here: https://www.highperformanceinstitute.com/blog/measurement/
03. Will you give academic advice?
High Performance Coaching does not entail academic advice, which is the responsibility and expertise of others on your campus. This entire curriculum is about personal growth and development.
04. What if I’m not a grad student yet but applying for grad school?
If selected, I definitely would still give you the Special Student Rate for:
- Solo Quest Exclusive Coaching
- Duo Quest Exclusive Coaching Pod
05. What happens if my schedule varies and I can’t meet at the same time every week?
No worries – I understand completely! I’ll be as flexible as possible and we will find a time that works for both of us.
06. How does life coaching differ from therapy or counselling?
Life coaching focuses on personal growth and development. High Performance Coaching has a set curriculum which is action-oriented and will inspire you to take accountability. It is forward looking and it is NOT therapy!
Therapy or counselling focuses on helping you heal from past traumas and deals with mental health issues. Most campuses have Counselling services so reach out if you need help! (Remember that it takes courage to ask for help!)
07. Will life coaching help me to be more productive?
Yes- but some life coaches ONLY focus on productivity. In High Performance Coaching, Productivity is only ONE of six high performance pillars. High Performance Coaching will help to give you more clarity and confidence in both your professional and your personal life!
08. How long is the coaching process?
The Core program is 12 weeks long if we meet on a weekly basis, which is the ideal schedule for making progress and gaining momentum. If you need to stretch out the payments more, I could make an exception and we could meet on a bi-weekly basis, which would take 24 weeks.
